Extracurricular activities are an important component of a well-balanced education. From fine arts to athletics, organized extracurricular activities give students opportunities to make new friends, develop new skills, and discover new interests.

All of our activities are led by OPA staff or volunteers who are committed to using the activity as a means for discipleship. We try to use every activity as an opportunity to teach Biblical truths about work, rest, failure, progress, sanctification, authority, grace, and much more, so that students are equipped to see all things through a Biblical lens.

Homeschool families are welcome to join our extracurricular activities!  Please contact our activities director for information at kdanklefsen@owassoprep.org.

Lion's Matrix

Our students learn about the character of a LION using the OPA Lion Matrix. This helps them learn how to exhibit our five focus areas throughout the day.

Lion's Creed
I am created in the image of God.
I am unique and special.
I am loved.
L - I will lead by example
I - I will do what is right
O - I will trust in God's plan for me
N - I will put forth effort in all things
S - I will serve and love others.
I am a lion fierce and strong
with God I can do anything!
