We are happy you are considering applying for admission to OPA!

Owasso Preparatory Academy aims to serve families by providing a school that focuses on discipleship and scholarship. We have admission requirements and procedures that we hope will create an educational culture where God can be glorified and where people are centrally united by the Gospel. If you’re interested in partnering with OPA for your child’s education, see below to walk through the 8 steps that will guide you through the admissions process at OPA. If you have any additional questions you may reach out to our Admissions Director, Mrs. Purvis, at apurvis@owassoprep.org.

Step 1 - Attend An Information Meeting

Attending an informational meeting is required for all new families whether you are interested in class enrollment or activities only. They are a great way to determine if OPA is the right fit for your family!

Step 2 - Apply Online

After you have attended an informational meeting you will receive an email listing in detail, the entire enrollment process. This email will include a link to complete an application on our schools portal, Classreach.

For the application you will need to have the an electronic copy of each students birth certificate, insurance card, up to date immunization record or approved vaccine exemption form and a Sports Physical Form (7th grade and above only). It will be especially helpful, and save time down the road, if you are able to obtain and upload your students academic record/transcript to the application.

Step 3 - Submit Application Fee

Submit non-refundable, one-time Family Application Fee of $50.

You may pay this fee via cash or check by dropping it off at the Owasso Elementary campus on Tuesdays or Thursdays during school hours or mailing it to:OPA, PO Box 142 Owasso, OK 74055

We also accept enrollment payments via venmo @ OwassoPreparatoryAcademy

Step 4 - Family Interview & Pastor Reference Form

Once your application has been approved you will receive an email to schedule your Family Interview as well as a digital form that is to be sent to your Pastor to fill out and submit before your family interview.

Family Interviews are generally scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Owasso Elementary Campus.

The Family Interview is required for any guardian involved in the education or activities of the student and any additional students who will be attending OPA or participating in the activities. This includes any tutors or extended family who will be responsible for the homeschool days.  The Family Interview will be approximately 30 minutes long.

After the Family Interview you will be sent 2 emails. One regarding the Parental Choice Tax credit and the other will be to schedule the assessment(s), collect any transcripts and standardized test if they were not uploaded with the application.

Step 5 - Applying for the Oklahoma Parental Choice Tax Credit

After the family interview you will be sent the 2026/2027 Registration and Enrollment Verification Form.  The information collected on this form will be submitted to the State on or around March 12th. They will then generate an Enrollment Verification Number for each student. The Enrollment Verification Number will be emailed directly to the primary guardian by the Oklahoma Tax Commission.

This Enrollment Verification Number that will be specific to OPA is what is required to be included on the application when it opens up on March 16th, 2026.

Step 6 - Academic Assessment

Once the Family Interview is complete you will be sent an email to schedule the assessment for your student. This email will include the assessment guidelines so that you can know what to expect.

Before the assessment takes place we will need to collect any and all available transcripts/standardized testing that is available.

Placement testing will help determine the student’s readiness for the grade level and ability to meet the academic expectations of the program.

  • The Assessment Fee is $50 for all students

Payments can be made via cash or check at the time of the assessment. You may also mail a check to PO Box 142, Owasso, OK 74055 or pay via venmo @OwassoPreparatoryAcademy

Step 7 - Registration

The Registration and Enrollment Verification Form you filled out when applying for the Parental Choice Tax Credit will also serve as your official registration for the school year. The next step is to pay registration fees to Mrs. Dearing in the front office at the Elementary Campus.

  • Regular Registration (open for new and existing families): $50 per student before February 2nd, 2026
  • Late Registration (open for new and existing families): $75 per student before April 1st, 2026
