We are happy you are considering applying for admission to OPA!

Owasso Preparatory Academy aims to serve families by providing a school that focuses on discipleship and scholarship. We have admission requirements and procedures that we hope will create an educational culture where God can be glorified and where people are centrally united by the Gospel. If you’re interested in partnering with OPA for your child’s education, see below to walk through the 8 steps that will guide you through the admissions process at OPA. If you have any additional questions you may reach out to our Admissions Director, Mrs. Purvis, at apurvis@owassoprep.org.

Step 1 - Attend An Information Meeting

These sessions, which are mandatory for the application process, are a great way to determine if OPA is the right fit for your family!

An online application-link will be sent after information meeting attendance

Step 3 - Submit Application Fee

Submit non-refundable, one-time Family Application Fee of $50.

Step 4 - Pastoral Reference Form

You will be emailed a Pastor Reference Form link that you will send to your Pastor to have them complete. The form, once completed, will be sent directly to OPA.

Step 5 - Family Interview

A Family Interview will be scheduled with any guardian(s) who will be involved in the education of the student(s) as well as any siblings. The Family Interview will be with Mrs. Rinas or another member of the Board and will be 30 minutes. The Family Interview will be scheduled once steps 1 through 4 have been completed.

Step 6 - Student Academic Assessment/Transcript Collection

Once the Family Interview is complete a placement assessment will be scheduled. Before the assessment takes place we will need to collect any and all available transcripts/standardized testing that is available. Parents of Middle School and High School students will also be sent a google form to complete for each student.

Placement testing will help determine the student’s readiness for the grade level and ability to meet the academic expectations of the program.

  • The Assessment Fee is $75.00 for 7th – 12th Grades.

  • The Assessment Fee is $50.00 for 3rd – 6th Grades.

  • The Assessment Fee is $25.00 for Pre-Kindergarten – 2nd Grades.

Payments can be made via cash or check at the time of the assessment. You may also mail a check to PO Box 142, Owasso, OK 74055

Step 7 - Registration

Once the student(s) assessment has been completed and approved you will be emailed a registration link to sign up for the appropriate school year. Once your registration is completed our Director of Finances, Mrs. Dearing will generate a Family Cost & Registration Form that will be emailed to you.  This form will need to be signed and turned into Mrs. Dearing before the student is officially enrolled in OPA.

Step 8 - Final Step

Once the Family Cost & Registration Form has been completed and signed you will be sent a “Welcome Email” from ClassReach, which is the portal we utilize for all communications regarding OPA Students and Staff.

You will also be sent an official email confirming your completion of the enrollment process.
