We are hosting our 6th annual OPA Family Retreat at Sequoyah State Park this year!!
We have so many fun things planned for our OPA Family Retreat and hope you can come! We rent a large kitchen and common indoor space as well as huge lawn to play games and hang out just for our OPA families! Last year we played dodgeball, capture the flag, kickball, and so much more! I will have a schedule of events closer to the retreat.
Everyone is responsible for booking their own lodging. Sequoyah has some lodging options from cabins, the lodge, tent camping and RV hook ups. 918-772-2545
Event Timing: May 8th (check in at 3:00-5:00 PM) to May 9th around Noon

Cost: $40 per Family - Not including lodging or food unless stated - this pays for the group camp, games and all the fun we bring!

RESCHEDULED SECONDARY FIELD TRIP — OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark
Date: Thursday, May 14th
Sign Ups Close: April 21st or when all tickets are claimed.
Cost: All Full Time 6th-12th grade students Okana entrance fee is included in tuition.
Schedule for the Day for bus riders:
🚌 Leave OFA — 9:00 AM
🍽️ Lunch in OKC — 11:00 AM
🏝️ Arrive at OKANA — 12:00 PM
🚌 Leave OKANA — 4:00 PM
🍽️ Dinner & Head Home — Arrive by 7:00 PM
If you are taking your Elementary students to the Science Museum you may drop your Secondary student off at OKANA no earlier than 10:00AM. We will have chaperones at OKANA. Your student must be picked up from OKANA no later than 4:00PM.
Important Information:
- OKANA tickets are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Bus seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- One parent may accompany their student to OKANA.
- We do not have tickets available for younger siblings.
- If extra tickets become available after sign-ups close, we will notify families. Any additional spots will also be first-come, first-served.
Meals & Spending Money:
- Students must eat breakfast before arriving for the field trip.
- Please send students with enough money for lunch, snacks at OKANA, and dinner on the way home.
Swimwear Dress Code:
On the occasion that a school-sponsored event includes swimming, a dress code will apply:
- Swimwear must appropriately and sufficiently cover the body for all participants. Boys must wear swim trunks. Girls must wear modest, full coverage one-piece swimsuits or tankini that shows no midriff.
- Swimwear is activity-specific and subject to administrator approval.
- We may provide shorts and t-shirts for any students who arrive in inappropriate swimwear.
