Earn an Associate Degree in High School

Through our on-campus Dual Credit College Classes, students can complete enough college credits to earn their associate degree while concurrently completing their high school program.

Owasso Preparatory Academy is committed to preparing its students for college beyond college prep into college completion. These advanced classes are offered through special agreements with Colorado Christian University and Southwest Baptist University, which hold to the same Christian worldview. College credits earned through this program are accepted at most colleges and universities across the country, but students should check with their prospective institutions to be aware of their individual transfer credit policies.

Dual Credit College Classes are college-approved classes at OPA that are taught or proctored by OPA teachers.  Students will attend the class just as they would any other class on their schedule. The course syllabi and curricula are set by OPA instructors in conjunction with our partner colleges, and the student expectations mirror that of a university student.

Our program allows our students to individualize the amount of college credits based on their goals and interests. This provides students with the option to earn anywhere from three up to sixty college credits with the possibility for attaining an associate degree alongside their high school diploma.

In addition to preparing your child for college success, this opportunity can save them thousands of dollars in college tuition.

Concurrent Enrollment

Owasso Preparatory Academy strives to ensure that all students are college-ready when they graduate high school. One way in which we meet this goal is by partnering with Colorado Christian University and Southwest Baptist University to offer college courses via our on-campus classes. These are considered dual credit or concurrent enrollment courses, which provide both high school and college course credit for each specific course. Course options vary by class level and teacher availability. All high school students are provided one-on-one advising to determine which courses will meet their particular student’s life goals and ensure that all high school graduation requirements are met.

Transcript Requests

Owasso Preparatory Academy has partnered with Parchment to offer our students access to their transcripts safely and securely.  Students and alumni may request their transcripts using the link below.  No fee is required.
